The IDA program is a matched savings account program to assist low-to-moderate income individuals to save $2,000 over a 36-month period. The individual’s $2,000 is matched with $4,000 (2:1 match) to be used towards the down-payment and closing costs of a first time home purchase.
On Janary 19th, 2017, the Lake Worth Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) held a public workshop to discuss their new Commercial Grant Programs. The workshop informed the business community of what programs are offered, the requirements and guidelines and the overall process of award.
Today, the Lake Worth Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) was awarded a $2,000 grant by the National Trust for Historic Preservation from the Daniel K. Thorne Intervention Fund. These grant funds will be used to help support financial analysis planning of the historic 1000 Lake Avenue project.
The Healthy Lake Worth initiative is conducting a short survey of our local residents to help us learn more about your views and thoughts on health and community. Your answers will give us some insight about how community can affect health. It should only take about 5 minutes to complete and please know that we are not collecting names and your responses will remain anonymous.
